VanHack Academy Subscription Policies

1. Description of Services Provided

As a student of the VanHack Academy, you will have access to a complete program that will be available to you while your subscription/membership is active. The program grants you access to the following services:

  • VanHack Profile Review: you can request your profile review from your VanHack Profile and receive complete feedback in up to 5 business days. You can also request another review after 30 days of the previous request while your subscription is active and access further support from our experts through email or any other communication tool provided.
  • Interview Practice Classes: you will have unlimited access to all recorded lessons available as part of our Core Program in the VanHack Academy platform and unlimited access to weekly Live Classes for hands-on practice with industry experts while your subscription is active.
  • Community Space: you will have access to the community space while your subscription is active to get support from the VanHack team, be notified about classes, VanHack Academy services, webinars, and much more.
  • Exclusive Webinars and Video Courses: you can attend exclusive sessions while your subscription is active and watch all the previous exclusive content and courses in the VanHack Academy resources.

2.What are my payment responsibilities?

As a student of the VanHack Academy, you agree to pay all applicable fees (including taxes) and provide us with the necessary payment information to access VanHack Academy features. Any default in payment of these fees may result in your VanHack Academy service termination.

3.What are the payment methods available?

There are two types of plans (monthly and 3-months) available for you on our platform; they are subscription-based or one-time payments.

  • 3.1 One-time

    If you have selected the one-time payment option, it means you will have access to the program for a specific period, and the services are automatically terminated when the period ends. You should acquire a new plan if you wish to continue using the services.

  • 3.2 Subscription

    If you have chosen the subscription options, your plan will be automatically renewed. You are expected to cancel/update your subscription on your settings page when you want to discontinue your access to the VanHack Academy.

4. I have opted for the VanHack Academy subscription plan.

  • 4.1 How is the subscription billing process/cycle?

    When you sign up for VanHack Academy and choose any of our subscription plans, you will be billed according to your subscription choice. If you select the monthly subscription plan, you will be billed every month; if you choose the quarterly subscription plan, you will be billed every three months.

    Until you cancel your VanHack Academy subscription, billing will continue according to the cycle stated at the date of your subscription.

  • 4.2 How can I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel anytime from your settings page. Go to your VanHack Account > VanHack Academy Subscription Detail.

    VanHack is not responsible for continued subscriptions should users forget to cancel their VanHack Academy memberships. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the cancelation.

    When you cancel your VanHack Academy subscription, you will lose access to all your VanHack Academy services at the end of your current billing cycle. As soon as your billing cycle ends, you will not be able to access your profile review and the VanHack Academy live classes and courses after the cancelation. Be sure you use all your services before the cancelation/billing cycle goes into effect.

  • 4.3 What if I forget to cancel my subscription before it is renewed?

    If you forget to cancel your subscription in time before it is renewed and you wish to discontinue your access, please get in touch with us immediately (maximum within two (2) days of your billing date). You can contact us via email at contact@vanhack.com. If you have used the service in the time between being billed and contacting us, we will not be able to provide you with a refund. Please note that we cannot offer refunds if you get in touch outside the 2-day window.

5. What is the Refund Policy?

Further on the previous policy attached to your cancelation, stated in item 4.3, VanHack offers two other refund policies as follows.

  • 5.1 The 30-day money back guarantee

    If you are not getting an incredible value and feeling more prepared in the first 30 days, we can refund 100% of your purchase. Only members that used the services during the first 30 days are eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are eligible for the 30-day money back guarantee, first cancel your subscription on your settings page. Go to your VanHack Account > VanHack Academy Subscription Detail. Then, send your refund request to contact@vanhack.com.

    VanHack Academy service is non-refundable after the 30th day. If your subscription was renewed and you forgot to cancel, follow the previous policy stated in item 4.3 and contact us immediately.

  • 5.2 Get the amount invested back when you get hired through VanHack

    As part of our new money-back guarantee policy, taking place and applying for plans acquired after October 28, 2022, you can get the amount invested in the VanHack Academy program if hired through VanHack. Only new members who purchased the program and were hired through one of VanHack’s recruitment processes after October 28, 2022, are eligible for this policy. Students who had a membership and used the services before this date are not eligible. The total amount invested in your preparation will be debited to your account when the company that hired you confirms your contract is signed and ready to start.
