We're looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer who is passionate about building products that delight users and solve real-world problems. You'll play a key role in developing and scaling the Homekin platform as we continue to innovate in the home design and home management space. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain features across our web and mobile applications. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations. Improve platform performance, reliability, and security. Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system stability. Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers when appropriate. Help shape engineering best practices, development workflows, and technical standards.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience building modern web applications using React. Experience with backend development using Node.js. Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud-based architectures. Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases. Understanding of software design principles, testing, and CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with React Native or Flutter. Experience with Firebase, Supabase, AWS, or Google Cloud. Experience integrating AI/LLM-powered features into applications. Familiarity with e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer-facing products. Experience with analytics, experimentation, and data-driven product development. Interest in interior design, home services, or proptech.
