About the Role

This is a permanent/full-time position directly with our client. As the Mobile Release Manager, you will own the end-to-end release lifecycle for a high-traffic app portfolio, safely steering deployments to millions of daily active users. This role requires a unique blend of release governance and technical, hands-on native mobile development experience.

Sitting at the intersection of code and delivery, you will leverage your background in native iOS or Android development to confidently interface with engineering squads, manage complex branching strategies, debug pipeline blockers, and oversee App Store and Google Play compliance.

Most Important

  • 5+ years of foundational background as a Native iOS or Android Developer, combined with at least 2+ years explicitly functioning as a Release Manager, Technical Delivery Lead, or Mobile Coordinator.
  • Practical history building or maintaining native applications in Swift or Kotlin, with a deep comfort regarding mobile-specific code structures, binary optimizations, and dependency managers (SPM, CocoaPods, Gradle).
  • Extensive hands-on experience building, modifying, and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Proven experience managing Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console environments, including code-signing and certificate management.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience navigating release cycles within a high-velocity digital media or streaming environment.
  • Technical exposure to large-scale enterprise open-source projects.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics and flagging tools such as Firebase Crashlytics and LaunchDarkly (Feature Flagging).

Includes 2 screening questions.
