The Role

The company is hiring a full-time Software Engineer to join their on-site team in Toronto. This role involves owning technical challenges end-to-end and collaborating closely with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Working directly with users to understand workflows, pain points, and operational challenges
• Designing implementation plans while considering edge cases, scalability, and user experience
• Building, shipping, and maintaining scalable product features
• Taking ownership of projects and contributing directly to product and technical decisions

Qualifications

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms
• Experience building scalable cloud-based and event-driven systems
• Ability to work in high-scale backend environments handling large volumes of executions and automations

Experience Profile

The company is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. They are primarily focused on strong technical fundamentals, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation & Work Environment

• Compensation ranges from CAD $70K–$220K plus equity, depending on experience
