About the Role

A fast-growing SaaS company is hiring its first Technical Program Manager to bring structure, accountability, and execution discipline across engineering and product initiatives.

This is a builder role focused on designing and improving how technical work is scoped, prioritized, and delivered. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, while also supporting complex client implementations.

The role has high visibility and direct interaction with leadership, with a strong impact on delivery efficiency, customer onboarding, and overall execution quality.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution

• Own planning and delivery of complex technical initiatives
• Translate business priorities into clear roadmaps and execution plans
• Align engineering, product, and leadership on priorities and progress
• Identify risks, manage dependencies, and remove blockers
• Run and improve Agile ceremonies (planning, retros, demos)
• Build visibility through reporting, dashboards, and tracking tools

Client Implementation

• Lead onboarding and technical implementations with customers
• Translate client requirements into structured plans for engineering
• Coordinate integrations with external partners and systems
• Ensure smooth go-lives and high-quality delivery

Process & Team Efficiency

• Improve team workflows to increase delivery speed and reduce friction
• Support developers by removing blockers and maintaining focus
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes
• Promote a strong quality assurance mindset across all work

Collaboration & Strategy

• Partner with leadership on planning and execution strategy
• Support alignment across teams and stakeholders
• Participate in occasional in-person strategy sessions or offsites

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Delivery roles
• Experience in SaaS, platform, or infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with modern web architectures (MERN stack is a plus)
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, serverless, Lambda)
• Experience working with engineering and product teams in Agile environments
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Notion, etc.)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups
• Background in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, or release management practices
