About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team and support critical IT infrastructure operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Windows-based environments, virtualization technologies, networking, automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly autonomous, security-minded, and comfortable managing enterprise infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments and core IT infrastructure
• Manage virtualization platforms, primarily VMware environments
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across infrastructure components
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and system-related issues
• Implement and maintain device management and automation solutions
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks
• Ensure infrastructure security best practices are followed across systems and endpoints
• Support backup, disaster recovery, patch management, and system upgrades
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and infrastructure scalability
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Mandatory Requirements

• Mexico-based candidates only
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role
• Strong experience with Windows Server environments and Microsoft ecosystem tools
• Hands-on experience with VMware
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with device management and automation tools
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High level of autonomy and ability to work independently
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux environments
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2
