About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will bridge the gap between digital innovation and physical fulfillment. This is a product-centered engineering role where you don’t just execute tickets—you shape the future of a personalized marketing tool that scales across a massive warehouse network. You’ll own the full lifecycle of features, from serverless backend architecture to responsive frontends, driving revenue and technical evolution in the supply chain industry.

Most Important

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a mastery of Python and React.
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS, specifically building within serverless architectures such as Lambda, Aurora, and S3.
  • Strong familiarity with event-driven architecture; experience with AWS EventBridge is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive the complete lifecycle of a feature, from conception and testing to iterative deployment.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and SQL databases like MySQL or TimescaleDB.
  • While a 50/50 frontend/backend split is ideal, you must be comfortable working across the entire stack.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Go or Node.js, especially if transitioning from React-based JS.
  • Familiarity with Material UI, IoT systems including Raspberry Pi and OpenWRT, or AWS IoT.
  • Previous experience in startups, print/manufacturing systems, or marketing technology.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active technical community involvement.

Personal Traits

  • Product-Minded – You don’t just build; you provide input on product strategy and customer-focused innovation.
  • Bias Towards Action – You take high levels of ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and focus on delivering quality code at a high throughput.
  • Eternal Optimist – You view complex supply chain challenges as opportunities for creative problem-solving rather than roadblocks.
  • Collaborative and Candid – You value transparency, participate actively in code reviews, and thrive in a remote-first engineering culture.
  • Lifelong Learner – A commitment to learning and iterating while staying current with a diverse and evolving technology stack.
