Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) — Early-Stage HealthTech Startup

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, well-funded early-stage company in the digital health / mental wellness space, building a next-generation platform that leverages AI to improve access to mental healthcare globally.

This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the first technical hires, helping shape both the product and the engineering foundations from the ground up.

About the Opportunity

You’ll be working on a mobile-first product that serves as the main entry point for an AI-powered experience designed to transform how people access mental health support.

This is a 0→1 environment, where your technical decisions will directly influence the product, architecture, and overall direction. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product, and design to build a scalable and impactful solution from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development of a mobile-first application from 0→1
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance mobile architecture using Flutter (Dart)
• Collaborate with design to define mobile UX and design systems
• Own mobile CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and app lifecycle management
• Break down complex problems into incremental, high-quality deliverables
• Navigate ambiguity and make key technical decisions independently
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture and mentor others as the team grows

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong experience with Flutter (Dart) (2+ years preferred)
• Experience with native mobile (iOS/Android) or React Native is a plus
• Proven track record of building and shipping products (ideally in startup environments)
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with high autonomy
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
• Experience in healthtech or mission-driven products is a plus
