This is a player-coach role, combining people management with hands-on technical work, where you will help improve engineering processes while also staying close to the code and contributing directly across projects as needed. The balance between management and IC work will evolve based on team needs, requiring someone comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on technical level.

Responsibilities
• Build and lead a remote team of ~5 engineers across LATAM
• Act as a hands-on technical leader (code reviews, architecture, occasional implementation)
• Drive clarity, accountability, and execution
• Partner with product to plan, prioritize, and ship
• Foster high-trust, ownership-driven culture with strong async communication
• Improve engineering processes and quality as we scale

Ideal candidate
• Full professional English proficiency (written + spoken), critical for this role
• Recent EM or Tech Lead experience, preferably in a startup
• Hands-on technical skills, true player-coach
• SaaS environment experience
