The Role

Our hiring partner is hiring a Senior Full-stack Developer in Calgary. You’ll build high-quality products used by millions of Canadians, working across the stack and contributing to a modern, scalable fintech platform. You’ll work with a cutting-edge stack (TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, AWS, serverless) and leverage AI tools to accelerate development.

What You’ll Do

Build & Deliver

• Write and ship high-impact code across the stack.
• Design and implement solutions to complex problems.
• Contribute to a microservices architecture (async systems, distributed transactions, idempotency).

Drive Quality

• Champion best practices: testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
• Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback through code reviews.

Collaborate & Mentor

• Work closely with other developers on architecture and delivery.
• Mentor peers and lead by example.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications.
• Strong backend expertise (APIs, data, scalability, security, business logic).
• Proven experience delivering complex, production-grade systems.
• Strong programming fundamentals with expertise in one or more languages.
• Experience with performance optimization, scaling, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Experience with multiple data stores (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience working on large, multi-team projects.
• Based in—or open to relocating to—Calgary, AB.
