About the Role

This high performance engineering position focuses on architecting the next generation of intelligent systems for global logistics. Rather than building models from scratch, you will deeply integrate AI into a mission critical platform using Elixir and TypeScript. You will build robust services, design fault tolerant distributed systems, and leverage cutting edge LLMs to power demand planning and real time automation. This position requires a polyglot mindset where languages are tools used to prioritize production grade reliability and scalable intelligence.

This role is open to candidates currently located in Latin America and Canada.

Most Important

• Deep Elixir Expertise through 2+ years of experience delivering production systems using Phoenix and OTP patterns.
• Polyglot Proficiency with 2+ years of TypeScript experience and a demonstrated ability to move across the full stack with high agency.
• AI Integration Mastery leveraging APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Vertex AI for practical applications like summaries and trend analysis.
• Distributed Systems Knowledge with a focus on fault tolerant architectures, concurrency models, and resilience patterns.
• Real Time Data Pipeline Experience using messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ to handle high throughput streaming.
• Database Design Skills centered on PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Public Technical Presence evidenced by a GitHub link showing recent contributions or high quality coding proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Cloud and Edge Platform Experience with GCP, AWS, or Cloudflare Workers AI.
• Advanced AI Implementation including prompt engineering, cost aware API optimization, and semantic search.
• Industry Context within logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain domains.
