About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Frontend & Product Designer–Engineer to design and build the core interfaces where businesses manage cross-border finances. This role combines product thinking, UI design, and hands-on frontend development.

You will design and implement user experiences that manage real financial complexity — including multi-currency balances, pending transactions, and fluctuating FX rates — while ensuring the product feels intuitive, trustworthy, and calm.

This is an onsite position based in downtown Toronto, open to relocating professionals from Latin America.

Most available tools are built for large enterprises with extensive finance teams.

We are building modern financial infrastructure designed for globally operating businesses from day one — including multi-currency accounts, seamless international payments, and intuitive financial management tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and ship end-to-end features using Next.js
• Design user interfaces that simplify financial complexity
• Collaborate closely with product teams and customers to deeply understand user problems
• Make thoughtful trade-off decisions balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Own features from ideation through production
• Write tests, implement monitoring, and ensure reliability beyond deployment

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience building production-level software
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• A product-oriented mindset with a focus on solving user problems
• Understanding of the importance of precision, reliability, and trust in fintech
• Ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders and make informed decisions

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services
• Strong knowledge of accessibility best practices
• Interest or perspective on how AI is transforming frontend development
