About the Role

Join a distributed engineering team building cutting-edge, AI-powered products within a modern, service-oriented ecosystem. The mission of this project is to design and scale a high-performance, event-driven architecture using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

The core engineering challenge lies in developing reliable, observable systems that integrate complex AI tools, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities. You will take full ownership of critical API and front-end components, ensuring robust performance, clean architecture, and advanced security.

Most Important

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years specifically focused on Node.js backend development.
• Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript for building complex, scalable front-end components.
• Deep knowledge of backend technologies, including Express (or similar frameworks), RESTful API design, and asynchronous patterns (promises, async/await, streams).
• Strong SQL fundamentals with hands-on PostgreSQL performance tuning, along with experience using vectorized databases or extensions (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Supabase).
• Production experience with Docker, containerization, and advanced CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, secure coding practices, and caching strategies (Redis).
• Passion for automated testing, clean architecture, and highly observable system design.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced Node.js frameworks and ORMs, such as TypeORM, NestJS, Fastify, or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with NLP, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts.
• Experience integrating AI tools and LLMs into real-world applications.
• Exposure to cloud-native infrastructure, specifically AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda).
