About the Role

Our Client is a specialist AI, Data, and Technology partner to Australia’s Financial Services and Insurance industry. They work with leading banks, insurers, superannuation funds, and wealth managers to unlock real business value from data and AI responsibly, securely, and at scale.

You will join a fast-growing Group AI team, a core strategic function with a clear mandate to build AI-powered solutions and products that shape the future of financial services. In this role, you will lead the development of Agentic AI solutions, translating ideas into production grade capability.

Most Important

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with full stack experience preferred (.Net + React / Angular).
• Demonstrable experience in developing AI agents and automation workflows, multi-agent orchestration, MCP servers, and evaluation.
• Experience with agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar).
• Experience in shortening development timelines through the use of AI-generated code.
• You can prototype a React UI when needed.
• Proven experience designing and deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience deploying AI solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and support for production AI systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications highly regarded, particularly Azure AI Engineer.
• Exposure to knowledge graphs is a strong advantage.
• Experience working in or delivering solutions for financial services or other regulated industries is highly advantageous.
