Position Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role on the engineering team, focusing on the continuous improvement of the company’s Dashboard and E-commerce APIs. This role blends front-end expertise with strong server-side development, contributing to new feature development, performance optimization, and the scalability and security of the platform.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions and deliver a high-quality experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development & Integrations: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and reliable code across the Dashboard and E-commerce APIs. Own and evolve integrations with Shopify and third-party services to ensure scalable, reliable synchronization and functionality for e-commerce clients.
• Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions to maintain responsive, efficient systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to bring product experiences to life with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Testing & Maintenance: Build and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure application reliability, performance, and security.
• Mentorship: Support and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and a culture of continuous learning.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in React and its core concepts and workflows (e.g., Flux, Redux)
• Solid experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience building GraphQL and RESTful APIs and implementing server-side logic to support front-end functionality
• Experience developing and maintaining Shopify apps or integrations
• Strong understanding of security best practices, test-driven development, and unit/integration testing
• Proven ability to optimize performance and abstract solutions into reusable patterns that support long-term scalability
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound architectural decision-making

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Next.js, React Router, or Remix
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, etc.) and cloud infrastructure best practices
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines (Webpack, NPM, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as SST, CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi

Education & Experience

5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a portfolio demonstrating meaningful project contributions
