Role Description:

Our hiring partner is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a passion for clean, reusable code and the ability to take ownership of complex features—from back-end architecture to front-end UI integration. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with C#/.NET, 5+ years of experience with React using TypeScript, and an interest in Python for rapid prototyping and AI. Experience in a regulated industry is a significant plus.

As the company is still in its early stages, they’re looking for someone with high standards and strong opinions who can help establish a solid engineering foundation as they enter their next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end development of resilient, stable, and secure features based on requirements developed by the product manager.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration between back-end services and user interfaces.
• Architect endpoints using OpenAPI.
• Integrate with Accounting Software and Banking-as-a-Service vendors.
• Diagnose and resolve complex back-end issues, including security vulnerabilities and stability concerns.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure the infrastructure supports long-term business goals and security requirements.
• Leverage ML techniques (e.g., document extraction, LLMs) to extract and interpret information from documents.
• Build and maintain services within a modern .NET application environment.

Requirements:

• Proven track record with 7+ years in software development using C#/.NET, focusing on back-end services, API development, and enterprise-grade application design.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications in the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Experience in fintech or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to unit testing.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and other web services.
• Working knowledge and appreciation of Python.
• High standards for architecture and code quality.
• Strong understanding of database management systems and ORM tools (SQL Server, Entity Framework), with experience optimizing queries and data storage.
• Proficiency handling security, authentication, and authorization in a back-end environment.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS and an understanding of scalable infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React, to support integration with back-end services.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
