They’re reimagining everyday banking through innovative, customer-first products like high-reward credit cards, savings accounts, and top-rated mobile apps.

They’re now looking for a Staff & Senior Full-Stack Developers to join their engineering team onsite in Calgary.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented group of developers to deliver high-quality code and build impactful features and products. You’ll contribute to both the architecture and hands-on development of front-end and back-end systems, while promoting practices like code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery. The team works with modern technologies and design patterns, and the platform is built using a microservices architecture.

What you'll be doing:

• Write and ship production-level code 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the development team
• Plan and implement scalable, reliable solutions to complex problems
• Contribute to a microservices-based architecture, using practices like idempotency, asynchronous communication, and distributed transactions
• Build user-facing features using modern front-end tools and frameworks
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Advocate for strong engineering standards, including automated testing

Who we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in back-end development, including APIs, data handling, scalability, security, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience building full-stack applications using modern front-end tools like React or similar frameworks
• Solid grasp of programming fundamentals, with deep expertise in at least one or two languages and a passion for learning new ones
• Experience with performance optimization and knowledge of secure development best practices
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure 
• Familiarity with a range of data storage technologies 
• Background working in larger development teams on projects that span multiple teams or departments
• 6+ years of professional software development experience for Seniors 
• 10+ years of experience for Staffs with prior experience as a Staff at a top company

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time, in-office role based in Calgary.
• Candidates must be willing to relocate; relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for eligible candidates.
• Compensation: Base salary of CAD 120,000–140,000, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
