Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and tech teams to understand business challenges and design appropriate analytical solutions
• Document and analyze complex business processes and translate them into system and process improvements
• Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other techniques
• Create test scenarios and support UAT to ensure system changes meet business needs
• Draft detailed user stories and business requirement documentation
• Provide input during QA and release cycles, including defect tracking and change management
• Contribute to project estimations, timelines, and documentation updates
• Support agile workflows and participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement
• May oversee tasks and deliverables of other analysts on the team

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
• Prior experience in the health insurance or insurtech industry is essential
• Agile/Scrum experience is required
• Strong understanding of business analysis best practices (requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, UAT)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Ability to create process documentation and collaborate effectively across teams
• Bonus: Health insurance certifications (e.g. INS/LOMA, III) and technical writing skills
