Our hiring partner is a mission-driven company focused on expanding financial mobility for American workers, built on the values of trust, curiosity, resilience, and value. Their first product is a platform for broad-based equity plans—equity designed for the 99%, not just executives and top shareholders.
They are looking for a full-stack engineer to help build the core of their product and grow alongside the company. This role is ideal for someone who has shipped real products, wants true ownership, and is eager to level up. You’ll work across the stack, shape foundational architecture, and contribute to systems that need to scale as the business grows.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to scope features, assess tradeoffs, and ship high-quality work. The codebase is maturing—and so is the team. You’ll be instrumental in both.
What They’re Looking For
- Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, with comfort working across both frontend and backend
- Some experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
- Clear, pragmatic thinking—able to scope and estimate work with guidance
- A builder’s mindset: focused on solving real problems and delivering quality without overengineering
- Strong communicator, collaborative team player, eager to learn and share knowledge
Tech Stack
- Full stack JavaScript with Prisma and GraphQL
- AWS infrastructure
Location
- Fully remote, with collaboration hours aligned to U.S. time zones
Team is primarily U.S.-based but open to exceptional candidates globally
Team & Stage
- Join a small, capable engineering team of four, working closely with product and founding leadership
- Recently funded, seed-stage, generating revenue, and growing fast
How They Use AI
- AI is treated as a force multiplier. The team uses tools like Codex, Windsurf, and Loveable (for prototyping), plus internal automations
- You’ll be expected to use AI confidently, as a coding assistant and a strategic tool for debugging, refactoring, and system design. Knowing what can be automated—and what shouldn't—matters
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity stake
Work Culture
- High ownership, fast execution, minimal red tape
- Strong feedback culture, transparent decision-making, and clear communication
- Remote-first and flexible, with intentional team bonding and high-quality async workflows
