About The Company


Our hiring partner is a fast-growing SaaS company dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions. They are currently looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to join their team, ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of their applications.


Job Summary


In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to identify software issues before deployment. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the products meet high-quality standards. Your work will play a critical role in preventing defects and improving the user experience.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for manual testing.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to debug and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that fixes do not introduce new defects.
  • Validate new features and enhancements against business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Maintain and improve test documentation and QA processes.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role in software development.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with manual testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Ability to write and execute test cases based on product requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Plus

  • Experience with automated testing (e.g., Postman for API testing, Selenium, PHPunit, PestPHP, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, or others.
  • Knowledge of security testing practices.
  • Experience in SaaS application testing.
